The RAID Divemaster program uses simulated and real situations to help develop the skills you need to be an effective Divemaster. One of the advantages of the RAID system is that the program requires working with real students, under supervision of your Instructor, as well as a number of hours of real guiding to develop skills required to look after other divers.
It must be remembered that people look up to RAID Divemasters seek their advice and even follow their examples. This requires RAID Divemasters to lead by example and follow RAID standards. As a RAID Diving Professional, it is important that you understand that the definition of professional is someone who gets paid for what they do. In order to be paid someone must value your services.
